The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to take a leading role in project delivery, technical reporting and client support. This position suits a confident engineer who has developed a solid technical foundation and is able to take ownership of projects, work and build relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, coordinate and oversee geotechnical investigation projects through to completion. · Undertake soil and rock logging in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.

· Analyse field and laboratory data and prepare clear, practical geotechnical reports and recommendations.

· Prepare factual and interpretive geotechnical reports

· Review draft reports prepared by junior engineers.

· Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client communications.





· Mentor and support developing engineers.

· Support business development through building strong client relationships

· Promote a strong safety, quality and continuous improvement culture across site and office activities.

About You

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent. · Approximately 3-5 years’ local experience in geotechnical consulting, investigations, analysis and reporting.

· Solid understanding of Australian Standards, soil and rock mechanics and geotechnical interpretation.

· Proven field capability, including supervision of drilling contractors and management of investigation programs.

· Excellent technical writing, communication and verbal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver accurate, commercially practical outcomes.

· Experience preparing factual and interpretive geotechnical reports.

· A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel for fieldwork as required.
