About Ojas GroupOjas Group is an Australian business group with operations across infrastructure, cable supply, testing, renewable manufacturing and solar panel upcycling. We are seeking an experienced Senior Group Accountant & Finance Manager to manage the day-to-day accounting and finance operations across our group of companies.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of accounts, banking, reporting and financial controls while working closely with management to support business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage accounting operations across multiple group companies.
- Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers and monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets and key financial indicators.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

- Oversee the complete accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Manage supplier invoices, payment approvals, customer invoicing and collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up overdue accounts.
- Ensure supplier payments and customer receipts are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams.

Banking & Cash Management

- Manage daily banking, bank reconciliations and cash flow requirements.
- Monitor group bank accounts, payments and receipts.
- Coordinate with banks on facilities, guarantees, foreign exchange and other banking matters.
- Support cash flow planning and working capital management.

Financial Controls & Compliance





- Maintain appropriate accounting processes, controls and financial records.
- Coordinate BAS, GST, payroll-related reporting and other statutory requirements.
- Work with external accountants, auditors and tax advisors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Australian accounting and tax requirements.

Business Support

- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
- Assist with inventory, project costing and financial analysis across group companies.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and financial controls.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to management.

About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in a group or multi-company environment.
- Strong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and reconciliations.
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
- Good understanding of Australian accounting, GST and statutory requirements.
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Hands-on, commercially minded and comfortable working in a growing business.
