Are you a talented storyteller who can turn complex information into clear, engaging communication? We're looking for a strategic communications professional to drive internal communications across a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce. Working closely with senior leaders and executives, you'll create compelling content, lead communication campaigns, and help employees stay informed, connected and engaged.
This role is ideal for someone who combines exceptional writing skills with strong visual content capabilities. You'll be comfortable creating everything from executive presentations and intranet content to videos, graphics and enterprise-wide communication campaigns, while providing trusted advice to leaders across the business.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Developing and delivering strategic internal communication plans.
- Managing and optimising internal communication channels including the intranet, newsletters and digital platforms.
- Creating engaging written, visual and video content for a variety of audiences.
- Advising senior leaders and executives on communication approaches and messaging.
- Developing executive presentations and communication materials.
- Leading internal campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and behavioural change.
- Maintaining communication standards, templates and brand consistency.
- Simplifying complex business information into clear, engaging content.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across corporate and operational teams.
- Measuring communication effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the Manager Internal Communication to foster awareness and support for business strategy and priorities.

About You To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels.
- Strong conceptual and analytical capability, with a proven ability to turn complex topics into simple, engaging content.
- Proven experience in internal communications and employee engagement.
- Proven experience managing intranet content and digital communication platforms.
- Experience using email distribution software, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
- Experience creating visual content and video communications.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills.
- Robust stakeholder management skills and the confidence to work closely with senior leaders and executives.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a quick-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Confidence partnering with Executive and C-Suite stakeholders.
- Exposure to energy, resources, utilities or industrial environments.
- Understanding of geographically dispersed and/or unionised workforces.
- Knowledge of change management principles and communication approaches.
