Lead workplace and commercial interior projects with a studio where design thinking, client relationships and built outcomes are deeply connected. At Geyer Valmont, you’ll have the opportunity to shape briefs, influence design direction, mentor others and see your ideas carried through from concept to completion.
This is a senior role for an experienced workplace designer who is ready for more visibility, more client exposure and genuine ownership of projects. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team, clear leadership and a business that values high-quality work, career progression and a healthy work-life balance.
The Role
As Senior Interior Designer, you’ll lead the design process across workplace and commercial interior projects. You’ll guide client conversations, uncover what matters most in a brief and translate those insights into strong design narratives, practical documentation and finished spaces that reflect the original intent.
You’ll play a visible role with clients, consultants and internal project teams, bringing together creativity, commercial awareness and delivery focus. For the right candidate, this role offers genuine ownership: the chance to influence design direction, strengthen client relationships and help shape how the studio delivers great work.
You Will
- Lead workplace and commercial interiors from briefing and concept through to documentation and delivery
- Shape design narratives that respond to client goals, workplace strategy and the way people use space
- Present confidently to clients and build trusted relationships that support future work
- Coordinate documentation so the built outcome reflects the design intent, budget and programme
- Identify commercial, coordination and delivery risks early, with support from project and leadership teams
- Mentor emerging designers and help raise the standard of client-facing design across the studio
- Embed safety in design as a natural part of the design process
