This is your opportunity to join an innovative NSW Government organisation that keeps the state moving. In this role you'll: Provide leadership across HR systems management, HR data governance, assurance and access control practices within a complex and highly regulated operational HR environment.

Oversee the integrity, security and effective operation of workforce systems that support core HR operational processes, including Hire to Retire (HTR), Time to Pay (TTP), workforce administration and related people services.

Lead HR data, governance and assurance activities to support legislative, regulatory, audit and organisational compliance requirements.

Drive audits, compliance reviews, risk management activities, HR data quality reviews, control health checks and remediation initiatives, acting as a key escalation point for privacy, security and system access matters.

Partner with HR operational teams, business leaders, service owners, IT stakeholders and vendors to strengthen service delivery, improve data management practices and continuously enhance workforce systems outcomes.

Maintain HR systems governance frameworks, operating models and technology roadmaps that support sustainable, scalable and operationally effective service delivery.

Develop, coach and mentor a high-performing team responsible for HR systems management, data stewardship, access management,



governance, assurance and compliance activities.

Champion initiatives that improve HR operational effectiveness, strengthen data quality and control environments, and enhance the effective management of workforce information and technology services.

About You You are an experienced people leader with a strong background in governance, assurance, compliance and operational oversight of enterprise business systems.

You have demonstrated experience in:

- Governance and assurance frameworks within complex organisations.
- HR data governance, stewardship, reporting and information management, including experience working with sensitive workforce information.
- Access governance, identity and access controls, and security oversight.
- Audit, risk, compliance and regulatory obligations.
- HR operational environments, including workforce, payroll, hire to retire, time to pay or related people services processes.
- HR systems management, including operational oversight, governance, access controls, assurance and continuous improvement of enterprise workforce systems.




- Building and leading high-performing teams and specialist functions.
- Influencing senior stakeholders and navigating complex organisational environments.
- Balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery requirements.

You are a trusted advisor who builds strong relationships, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and can translate complex governance requirements into practical business outcomes.
