Key Responsibilities Include:

- Plan and deliver ore characterisation, variability, laboratory, pilot and plant testwork programs safely, on schedule and within approved scope and budget.
- Analyse metallurgical performance, including recovery, throughput, grind, reagent, water and energy requirements, impurity behaviour and key process constraints.
- Prepare quality-assured metallurgical inputs for Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve evaluation, concept studies,

pre-feasibility studies and feasibility studies.
- Investigate flowsheet options, emerging technologies and alternative processing approaches, considering technical performance, scale-up risk, operability, safety, environmental impact, cost and value.
- Prepare and review mass and water balances, Process Design Criteria (PDC), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), process descriptions and equipment-sizing inputs, and provide metallurgical input to Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;) and control philosophy.

Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline; a relevant postgraduate research qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum eight years' relevant experience in mineral processing, metallurgy or process engineering, including substantial hands-on responsibility for metallurgical research, testwork or process development.
- Demonstrated experience designing and interpreting ore characterisation and variability testwork, converting results into practical flowsheet recommendations, and preparing or reviewing mass balances, PDCs, PFDs and metallurgical inputs to P&IDs.;
- Strong knowledge of gold and copper processing flowsheets, including comminution, classification, flotation, oxidation or pre-treatment, leaching, solid-liquid separation, water and reagent systems and process control.
- Proven ability to supervise technical staff, coordinate specialist service providers and communicate clear technical recommendations in a remote, multicultural operating environment.
