About the Prospect:
Agile Mining Services are seeking an experienced Senior Mine Engineer to join the Technical Services Team.
This role is currently based at Buzzard Mine site, however, may be required to work or be based at another site or operation.

The key responsibilities include:
- Assist with Daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
- Drill and blast design and planning.
- Monitoring of ore blending requirements.
- Develop rolling 3 weeks mining plans and schedules for the mining operation.
- Provide designs and any required design amendments to suit operational requirements.
- Assist in the management of the weekly dig/dump plans in consultation with the Mining Superintendents and Supervisors.
- Ensure implementation and compliance of the Weekly Plan and site Safety Health and Environmental standards to ensure safe and sustainable mine standards.
- Utilise in house software (Surpac and Alastri) and data capture software to run reports as required.
- Utilise your skills to continually aim for innovative solutions.
- Provision of all aspects of engineering work (D&B;, design, scheduling,
equipment selection and the like).
- Provision of technical engineering support and analysis to site staff as required.
- Monitor, control and ensure that all work is conducted in a manner that ensures that the required quality is achieved within budget and timeframe.
- Interpret blast designs, mining schedules and other technical data.
Essential requirements
- 7-10 years open pit mining experience, iron ore would be advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering.
- Highly developed computing skills including MS Office, Surpac and Alastri or any scheduling package.
- Current "C" Class driver's license.
- Commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Passion for continuous improvement.
- Good experience in Drill and Blast designs and associated QAQC.
- Be able to work a 16/12 roster.

Pre-employment:
