Senior Process Engineer - Mining and Mineral Processing Equipment.

Consep Engineering is a global leader in specialised mineral processing technologies, delivering innovative solutions to mining operations worldwide.

Due to conssistant growth the company is looking to appoint an additional Senior Commercial Process Engineer to its Sydney HO Team.

In this role you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure that solutions offered by the company meet or exceed expectations.

This is a Sydney based role however you will be expected to make site visits particularly during the commissioning stages or to resolve any ongoing performance issues.

Principal Accountabilities

- Lead the development, optimisation and implementation of processes designed to maximise the performance of Consep supplied equipment and processes.
- Assist in the selection and development of process equipment and support tender and commercial submissions.
- Utilise advanced modelling and simulation tools to optimise process performance.
- Be the subject matter expert supporting project teams and junior engineers as well provide technical support to customer staff.
- Drive innovation in process design and technology adoption and champion the ConsepX program.




- Manage and oversee complex process engineering projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled process chemical engineer or metallurgist with at least 10 years of mining industry experience. Candidates who have both site operations and equipment vendor experience would be highly regarded. Key technologies include: gold processing, hydrometallurgy, sampling, screening and gravity recovery. Experience with equipment commissioning and plant optimisation.

This is a senior role within our organisation and the successful candidate would bring a commensurate skill set.

The role would suit a motivated, hard working individual looking to move away from FIFO work but still wanting direct site involvement and a rewarding and challenging role.

This role includes both national and international travel based on project requirements.
