We're currently looking for a qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within our Brisbane office leading some of QLD’s high profile Defence projects.

With a proven track record in delivering major Defence projects nationally, WT delivers creative, data-driven solutions that support the growth and transformation of this critical sector.

As part of this growth, the WT Brisbane office continues to expand with high-profile new engagements landing and with existing major projects underway and more in the pipeline.

We're seeking candidates experienced in Defence projects and delivering complex expansion and refurbishment projects.

This role will perform a traditional quantity surveying functions as well as offering strategic guidance, procurement strategies and commercial management to ensure projects are financially sound and aligned with long-term operational goals.

This role will be responsible for:





- Attending and facilitating client and consultant meetings
- Assigning project tasks and responsibilities
- Implementing and ensuring commercial processes are being adhered to
- Providing commercial support to team members
- Implement and maintain Quality Assurance processes
- Implementing and improving process and procedures
- General Quantity Surveying duties required to support service levels
- Building, mentoring and management of a small team of Quantity Surveyors

We're looking for someone who is keen to grow their career and has:

- Formal QS, Civil Engineering or Construction Degree.
- RICS/AIQS Membership
- DISP Security Clearance
- Demonstrated defence sector experience
- Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ CostX.
- A demonstrated track record of winning and managing major projects
- Proven leadership potential
