Senior QC Supervisor | Mulgrave, VIC | 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract

KYHA Studios is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior QC Supervisor to join our Melbourne team on a 12-month maternity leave contract .

Reporting to the Head of Production , this role is responsible for ensuring our products consistently meet KYHA Studios' high standards for quality. Working closely with our internal Production and Technical teams, offshore factories and supply partners, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and continuously improving product quality across our global supply base.

This role is ideal for someone with strong apparel quality experience who is passionate about detail, problem solving and delivering exceptional product within a premium fashion workplace.

About the job...

- Manage the day-to-day gown QC process, conducting thorough inspections of finished gowns and identifying workmanship, construction, fabrication and finishing issues
- Complete detailed QC reports, clearly documenting quality issues, findings and required corrective actions
- Develop and maintain quality control processes and standards tailored to KYHA Studios' products
- Oversee QC procedures across our global operations, ensuring factories consistently meet established quality standards
- Manage internal QC KPIs, tracking performance, identifying trends and driving continuous improvement across the team and supply base
- Proactively identify and address quality issues through development handovers and risk assessments
- Lead and support the internal QC team, setting clear standards and providing coaching and feedback to drive high performance
- Collaborate with Production and Technical teams to plan QC activities, refine at-source inspection processes and improve product quality
- Coordinate quality inspections as required,



ensuring products are inspected in a timely manner and reports meet company requirements
- Drive initiatives to reduce quality issues at source by identifying and addressing technical or process-related gaps
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, standards and corrective actions
- Ensure all products are checked and approved prior to dispatch, maintaining KYHA Studios' commitment to quality

About you...

- Minimum 5 years' experience in quality and/or production
- Robust experience in garment QC , including inspection of finished garments and detailed quality reporting
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrication and manufacturing processes
- Experience managing quality KPIs , analysing data and driving continuous improvement
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to think quickly and resolve time-critical quality issues
- Confident working collaboratively across multiple departments, factories and suppliers
- Ability to develop, coach and lead junior QC team members
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and NetSuite desired
- Bridal experience preferred but not essential
- Fashion Diploma or Degree preferred
