Maintenance Coordinator – Remote Central Australia, Northern Territory

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to oversee all aspects of maintenance at a unique 100% off-grid property in Remote Central Australia.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys problem-solving, and has the resilience and bush skills needed to work independently in one of Australia's most distinctive locations.

Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the property by maintaining critical infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, and grounds to a consistently high standard.

Package

- $90,000 Salary

Your Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage all maintenance operations across the property
- Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance and fault finding
- Maintain water bores, generators, sewer treatment systems and other essential infrastructure
- Carry out basic plumbing, carpentry, mechanical and general maintenance tasks
- Assist with unloading deliveries and transporting stock around the property
- Maintain vehicles,



machinery and onsite equipment
- Complete general grounds maintenance to ensure the property is presented to a high standard
- Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the property operates safely and efficiently
- Undertake other duties associated with maintaining a large remote property

About You

You are practical, self-motivated and enjoy the challenge of working in a remote environment where no two days are the same.

To be successful, you will have:

- Current manual driver's licence (essential)
- Strong all-round maintenance and handyman skills
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical or refrigeration maintenance (highly regarded)
- Trade qualifications or extensive practical maintenance experience
- Experience working with generators, power stations, water bores or similar infrastructure (highly regarded)
- Heavy machinery operating experience
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in hot conditions
- A Forklift Licence, or the ability to obtain one
