A challenge and an opportunity for a strong, hands-on, forward-thinking marketing expert… This respected professional association, recognised for advancing its profession through advocacy, education and community, is embarking on Year 1 of an ambitious five-year revitalisation strategy.
In this newly created role, you’ll lead a small and capable marketing and communications team to create innovative digital strategies that enhance the brand, widen the message, strengthen membership value, grow stakeholder numbers and future proof organisational sustainability.
Confident in your abilities, and reporting directly to the dynamic, commercially minded CEO, who will give you the freedom to make your mark you will create a transparent and contemporary ‘voice’, elevate member engagement and shape the organisation's future brand and communications.

If you're an experienced marketing and communications professional who wants to make a difference...this is a high impact role. You'll bring substantial experience across marketing, communications and brand leadership, ideally gained within membership, professional association or nonprofit environments.
You will have been successfully involved in projects involving member engagement, growth and retention, sponsorship and partnership development and leading, mentoring and developing a talented and committed team.
You’re digitally savvy and very comfortable in leveraging data and insights to inform decisions making. Experience in developing marketing toolkits, supporting events, growing partnership revenue and increasing organisational profile and influence will be part of your creative skillset.
Collaborative, confident and commercially aware, you'll enjoy leading a small team while remaining hands-on when required. Sound judgement, a mature and considered approach, the ability to listen actively and a determination to always find the best way forward, will further enhance your application.
