Combining rigorous research, strategic thinking and emerging technology, they work across customer experience, brand strategy, innovation, product development, B2B research and thought leadership.
As the team continues to grow, they’re looking for a Research Consultant to join their Sydney office.
The Opportunity
This is a varied, hands-on consulting role where you’ll work across quantitative and qualitative research, taking projects from the initial client question through to clear, practical recommendations.
You’ll get involved in:
- Designing research approaches to address commercial and customer challenges
- Managing quantitative and qualitative projects from setup through to delivery
- Developing questionnaires, discussion guides and research materials
- Coordinating fieldwork, timelines, budgets and project logistics
- Analysing data and identifying the themes and opportunities that matter
- Turning findings into engaging stories, reports and recommendations
- Presenting insights and building strong client relationships
- Contributing to proposals, pitches and new approaches
- Exploring new methodologies, technologies and AI-enabled research tools
You’ll work across a broad mix of clients and sectors, giving you plenty of variety and the opportunity to build your consulting skills quickly.
About You
You’ll likely bring:
- Around 1-3 years’ experience in market research, customer insights or a related consulting workplace
- Experience delivering quantitative and/or qualitative research projects
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to find the story behind the data
- Clear, engaging writing and presentation skills
- Confidence communicating with clients and stakeholders
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- A curious, proactive mindset and genuine interest in solving business problems
- Experience with Q, SPSS or similar analytical tools would be advantageous
You’ll enjoy asking good questions, thinking beyond the brief and translating research into something genuinely useful for clients.
