We are looking for a reliable and experienced Unisort Machine Operator to join the production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, has a strong mechanical aptitude and wants ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role
You will be responsible for keeping the Unisort sorting system operating efficiently and ensuring their produce are accurately sorted and graded to meet production and quality requirements.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

- Operating and monitoring the Unisort sorting machine
- Adjusting machine settings to maintain sorting accuracy
- Monitoring product quality and production flow
- Identifying and reporting machinery issues
- Performing basic troubleshooting and adjustments
- Supporting the wider production team as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work area
- Following food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures

What We're Looking For




We're looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and confident around machinery.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous Unisort or optical sorting machine experience (Desirable)
- Previous machine operation experience in food production
- Experience in food processing, agriculture, manufacturing or production
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to identify and respond to machinery issues
- Fit and strong with a good work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Previous onion or fresh produce processing experience is highly regarded
