QUALIFIED DIESEL TECHNICIAN - SHEPPARTON
Fox Personnel, regional Victoria's trusted recruitment agency since 1999, has been engaged by a highly regarded Shepparton-based operation in the heavy commercial retail sector to recruit an experienced Qualified Diesel Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, modern workshop servicing market leader franchises, with exposure to factory-based training, backed by a strong leadership team and a reputation for quality.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Carrying out diagnostics, maintenance, rebuilds, and repairs on heavy road transport vehicles
- Using advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults
- Supporting workshop standards in safety, cleanliness, and tooling care
- Reporting on required and additional repairs
- Participating in a rotating after-hours breakdown roster (by mutual agreement)
- Identifying and processing warranty repairs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Technician




- Minimum 3 years' experience in fleet or retail truck servicing
- Solid fault-finding ability and hands-on repair experience
- Solid leadership and autonomy in a team environment
- Current Australian Driver's License — Forklift, HR or MC preferred or willing to obtain

THE OFFER

- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm plus alternate Saturday mornings
- 38-hour week plus 2 hours standard overtime daily
- Alternate Saturdays paid at penalty rates (T1.5 & T2)
- $45 - $55 per hour + super, depending on experience
- Ongoing training, development, and career advancement
