At Avina, we're a national allied health and behaviour support organisation with 400+ clinicians supporting communities across Queensland, Current South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

We deliver Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Positive Behaviour Support, Physiotherapy and other allied health services across the lifespan.

Our values guide how we work:
Progressive | Curious | Respectful | Collaborative | Informed | Purposeful

About the Role We're looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our team across Brisbane East, Bayside and the Redlands.
Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as Cleveland, Thornlands, Redland Bay, Victoria Point, Capalaba, Alexandra Hills, Wellington Point, Birkdale, Wynnum, Manly and surrounding suburbs.

While the broader service area covers Brisbane's eastern and bayside communities, you won't be expected to travel across the entire region. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel practical and giving you greater flexibility over your working week.

You'll work across a flexible mix of home, school, community and telehealth settings, supporting participants across a varied NDIS caseload.
Your Role Depending on your experience and clinical interests, you'll have opportunities to work across communication, language, social communication and/or mealtime goals, with your caseload shaped around local service needs wherever possible.

You'll also have the support of Avina's wider multidisciplinary and Speech Pathology network, with access to clinical supervision, peer collaboration, Communities of Practice and ongoing professional development.

We welcome Speech Pathologists at different stages of their career – whether you're looking to consolidate your skills, broaden your experience or bring established expertise to the team.

What We Offer

- Current Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills
- A collaborative and person-centred approach
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work

If you're looking for a Speech Pathology role where you can work closer to home across Brisbane's Bayside and Redlands, have genuine flexibility and still have a wider clinical network behind you, we'd love to hear from you.
