About the Opportunity

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub/Scout to join a leading private surgical facility on the Sunshine Coast.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for a perioperative nurse to join a supportive, highly skilled team and work across a range of surgical specialties in a modern private hospital environment.

n

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with surgeons, anaesthetic teams and multidisciplinary clinical staff while delivering high-quality perioperative care.

n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
n
- Recent experience working within a perioperative, Scrub/Scout or operating theatre environment.
n
- Strong knowledge and application of ACORN standards, infection prevention and perioperative best practice.
n
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, patient-centred care across the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative journey.
n
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to work confidently and independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients, surgeons, anaesthetic teams and colleagues.
n
- Strong understanding of medication safety, risk management,



emergency procedures and clinical governance.
n
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing clinical development.
n
- Experience across a range of surgical specialties will be highly regarded.
n
