Sydney or Melbourne | Hybrid | $850 to $900 per day | 5 month initial contract

- Azure environment, Wholesale Banking data platforms
- Deep data lineage, quality and gap analysis work, not report production
- Sits across Finance, Credit Risk and Market Risk regulatory data
- Built for a long term banking data contractor, not a first time contractor
- This role sits inside a major Wholesale Banking data programme, working across the data feeding regulatory and risk reporting. The focus is the data itself, lineage, quality, sourcing, mapping and the ETL that supports it, not the reports that come out the other end.

What You'll Be Doing

- Analysing existing ETL processes, data flows and source systems feeding Wholesale Banking data into core platforms
- Running gap analysis across data attributes, lineage, quality,



transformations and sourcing for regulatory and risk reporting
- Defining source to target mappings, transformation logic and data quality rules to close identified gaps
- Designing, building and implementing ETL enhancements supporting regulatory and Market Risk requirements
- Running data validation, reconciliation, regression and integration testing
- Maintaining end to end data lineage, metadata and documentation for critical Wholesale Banking data

What We're Looking For

- A strong background in regulatory data and reporting inside major banks, not just reporting production
- Wholesale or institutional banking exposure, ideally across corporate lending, credit risk or trade finance
- A working understanding of IFRS 9 and the Australian regulatory reporting landscape, particularly APRA
- A long term contracting or consulting background, moving between major banking data programmes rather than mostly permanent roles
- Comfort working in an Azure environment
