About the opportunity
Reporting to the Deliveries Reporting Manager, the Senior Reporting & Data Insights Analyst plays a critical role in driving data-led decision making across Australia Post’s Network Operations function. You'll develop innovative reporting solutions, automate dashboards, uncover actionable insights and leverage emerging technologies to improve operational performance. Working closely with operational, finance and leadership stakeholders, you'll translate complex business challenges into meaningful analytical solutions that enhance efficiency, performance and customer outcomes.
You’ll also
- Develop, maintain and optimise automated reports, dashboards and reporting solutions to support key business decisions.
- Analyse large and complex data sets to identify trends, operational improvement opportunities and performance insights.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions.
- Drive automation, process improvements and the adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to enhance reporting capability and efficiency.
About you You are a curious and commercially minded analyst who enjoys solving complex problems through data. You thrive in fast-paced environments, can confidently communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, and enjoy partnering with stakeholders to influence decisions. You’ll also
- Bring experience analysing large and complex data sets, with strong skills in SQL, data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
- Have experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics tools, ideally within a logistics, supply chain or operational workplace.
- Demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical analytical solutions.
