Senior Social Worker - Pregnancy Family Conferencing Coordinator

About the role

This is an exciting prospect for an experienced Social Worker to join the Women’s, Children & Families division as a Pregnancy Family Conferencing (PFC) Coordinator.

The Pregnancy Family Conferencing (PFC) program is focussed on providing strength-based, trauma informed guidance to expecting parents and families where a significant child protection concerns have been identified.

In this role, you will work closely with the Department of Communities & Justice (DCJ) to provide a forum for families and services to have open and transparent conversations about child protection, with a focus on supporting parents to maintain custody of their children after birth.

You will be joining the Women’s Children & Families Division Northern Hub, and will assist with the implementation and delivery of PCF in Northern Western NSW Local Health District.
