The impact you'll make:
- Actively engage in hands-on coding, testing, debugging and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, scalability and maintainability.
- Write efficient, scalable and maintainable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Lead technical discussions and propose solutions that drive team performance and contribute to team and company OKRs.
- Lead and independently complete medium-sized projects or components from start to finish.
- Analyse complex problems and provide effective solutions, contributing to team goals and initiatives.
- Innovate within the team, pushing for improvements and driving constructive changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team, and mentor junior engineers with guidance and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers and engineering teams to effectively communicate technical concepts.
Your track record:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience in software engineering, with a primary focus on backend development.
- Experience with technologies such as Node.js, microservices, Docker and cloud services (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in subscriptions technology (WebSockets, Pub/Sub), TypeScript, GraphQL and database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions) for automating deployment.
- Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills,
an analytical mindset and a positive attitude with eagerness to learn new technologies and grow as a full-stack engineer.
Bonus points if you also have:
- Experience with Svelte + SvelteKit or other server-side rendering frameworks (React + NextJS, Vue + Nuxt, Quasar, etc).
- Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals, Storybook and related technologies.
