Job Title: Senior Technical Officer - Asset Management

Location: Margaret River

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Officer to join our Asset Management team in the beautiful region of Margaret River.

The Shires Asset Management team is responsible for the oversight of all civil infrastructure and major developments. This includes over 1000kms of road, extensive stormwater drainage network, car parks, marine structures, public open space areas, water and power facilities and over 140kms of paths and trails.

As Senior Technical

Officer - Asset Management you will have a pivotal role to manage the Shire's infrastructure asset management system and associated processes and data management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement asset management strategies and plans to optimize the lifecycle of assets.
- Assist and support capital project management with an enterprise asset management system.
- Develop forward capital works plans for required asset classes
- Provide technical expertise and support to the asset management team.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align asset management practices with organisational goals.




- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on asset performance and maintenance activities.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the asset management processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in asset management or a similar technical role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
