Role Description The Service Coordinator – Electrical is a full-time, on-site role based in Gympie, QLD. This position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating electrical service jobs, assigning technicians, and ensuring that work orders are completed on time and to quality and safety standards.

Day-to-day tasks include managing incoming service requests, updating job statuses, preparing and issuing work documentation, receipting deliveries and maintaining accurate records in the service management system. The role involves regular communication with customers, technicians,



suppliers, and internal stakeholders to confirm requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.

The Service

Coordinator also supports operational planning, monitors resource utilization, and assists with invoicing, quotations, and continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications

- A qualified electrician ready to come off the tools, or already retired and after a role that uses what you know – without the ladders.

Alternatively

Electrical wholesaling or trade counter experience – you know the products, the part numbers, the suppliers

- Strong Service Coordination skills, including scheduling, prioritising work orders, and managing multiple concurrent jobs.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to collaborate with technicians, customers, and suppliers in a clear and professional manner.

- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including handling inquiries, managing expectations, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully.
- Beneficial: Solid organisational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and previous service coordination, dispatch or purchasing experience
