About the business and the role:

The Washtub Dr is a growing SA-based company that has over 40 years of experience, specialising in commercial laundry and hospital equipment servicing and repairs.

We're seeking a skilled Electrician or an individual with experience as a White Goods / Bedpan Sanitiser Service Technician (or other related trade/skill sets) to join our small, driven team as a Service Technician. A Service Technician ensures the optimal performance of the equipment through preventative maintenance and repairs following a breakdown. You will diagnose faults, repair breakdowns, problem solve issues and carry out services.

This role offers full training and solid, long-term growth potential. A service vehicle will be provided during the day to travel between job sites as required.

Ideal for someone independent, practical, reliable, and eager to build technical skills in a specialised field.

Key responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance (maintenance, servicing and repairs) on Pan Sanitisers, Blanket & Fluid Warmers, Washing Machines and Dryers.
- Problem solve, diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, new parts, faults , etc. on Service M8.




- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Maintaining company assets to help preserve service life.
- Completing and attending to breakdown repairs.
- Travel to customer sites (primarily SA) with some overnight travel occasionally required.

Requirements:

- Current driver's licence

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Professional communication and presentation

- Ability to work independently
- Willing to complete required employment screening, such as:

- Working With Children Check

- Vulnerable persons Check

- Aged care screening Check

- General probity checks
- NPC - National Police Clearance

Previous service/technical experience is essential
