We are seeking a reliable and capable short order cook to join our food team. This role is suited to someone who enjoys fast-paced food prep, takes pride in consistency and presentation, and can work efficiently during early morning service.

Position Details

- Employment type: Casual
- Shift times: 5am – 12pm weekdays, 5am-1pm weekends
- Shift availability: 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
- Pay Rates (20+) * Ages <20, junior rates apply
- Weekday: $36.85 per hour
- Weekend: $48.07 per hour

Your Role

- Complete all food preparation, including slicing meats and vegetables.
- Cook, grill, heat, and fry menu items to required standards.
- Assemble menu items including breakfast offerings, rolls, wraps, baguettes, and sandwiches.
- Prepare and display food in display fridges and ovens.
- Rotate stock and monitor food quality and freshness.
- Store, handle, label, and date food in line with Australian Food Safety Standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen at all times.
- Work efficiently to deliver consistent quality during busy periods.

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food prep role (preferred).
- Ability to multitask and work quickly without compromising quality.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle early morning starts.




- Comfortable working independently while supporting the wider team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
