We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Technologist to join our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in engineering technology, project management, and compliance with industry standards. Location: Sydney, NSW
Salary Range: $90,000- 100,000 subject to experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse, test, and configure engineering systems, specifications, designs to ensure integration with peripherals, operational requirements and compliance standards
2. Prepare engineering blueprints, diagrams, and plans for ongoing projects
3. Evaluate the feasibility of engineering projects and determine resource allocation.
4. Perform testing, configuration of telecommunications technologies
5. Configure and integrate networks and telecommunications technologies with peripherals and operating systems
6. Provide technical expertise in optimization and performance monitoring of telecommunications networks and equipment
7. Supervise routine inspections, regular monitoring and maintenance, and upgrades of the telecommunication network technologies and infrastructure
8. Identify and implement engineering principles to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
9.
Participate in scheduling and estimations of resources and costs for telecommunication projects
10. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
11.Monitor service delivery, ensuring all engineering processes align with business objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience in engineering systems, project management, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Project, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of NBN, Telstra, Optus & TPG is essential

Skills and Competencies:
- Solid engineering and technical knowledge
- Ability to interpret and analyse engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for identifying and resolving system inefficiencies.
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations, OH&S; policies, and legislative compliance.
- Strong analytical and research skills to assess and improve existing technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder engagement.
