HIGH REACH & COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT OPERATOR | SOUTH WINDSOR

Omni Recruit is looking for an experienced forklift operator for a casual assignment at our client's site in South Windsor, running 21 September to 13 November. It's full-time hours on a casual basis — a great fit if you're after solid, defined work without signing on long-term. If you're confident switching between high reach and counterbalance, sharp with paperwork and stock counts, and take safety seriously, we want to hear from you.

Position Details

- Casual position, 21 September – 13 November
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm
- Impress in the first two weeks, and there's an opportunity to continue on an ongoing basis, with the focus moving to regular stocktake preparation

The Role
For the first two weeks, you'll be hands-on loading and unloading trucks and containers, and supporting picking, packing and put-away. After that, the focus shifts to stocktake preparation — counting, bagging, consolidations and stock checks. Do well in that initial period, and there's scope to keep going on a regular basis,



with stocktake preparation as your main focus.

Day to day, you'll be:

- Loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Transporting materials throughout the warehouse
- Assisting with picking and packing customer orders
- Assisting with put-away activities
- Supporting stocktake preparation — counting, bagging, consolidations and stock checks
- Keeping the site clean with general housekeeping duties

✅ What You Bring

- Current forklift licence
- Experience operating both high reach and counterbalance forklifts
- Previous warehouse experience
- Confidence reading paperwork and warehouse location information
- Strong attention to detail with counting and inventory tasks
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A genuine commitment to site safety procedures
