Job Description

- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
- Assisting with statutory reporting and external audits
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Supporting tax compliance obligations, including BAS, FBT, and income tax reporting
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Contributing to financial analysis and management reporting
- Identifying opportunities for process optimisation and automation




- Partnering with stakeholders across finance and operational teams to deliver insights that support decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

- CA or CPA qualification
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in financial accounting, audit, or business services
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements
- Experience working within a complex corporate setting
- Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Mining, resources, energy, or large corporate experience will be highly regarded
