The Opportunity
n
An opportunity is available for an experienced HR or workplace relations professional to support the organisation's current enterprise bargaining activities.
n
This role will suit someone who enjoys working across complex projects, managing competing priorities and bringing structure to work that involves multiple stakeholders.
n
You will play an important role in supporting bargaining activities, coordinating information and ensuring the work progresses effectively.
n
With an initial non-ongoing contract of up to six months, with the potential for extension, this is an excellent prospect to gain hands‐on experience supporting a significant bargaining process within a national organisation.
n
The Role
n
As the APS 6 Bargaining Officer, you will provide practical HR, bargaining and project support throughout the current enterprise bargaining process.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of enterprise bargaining activities
n
- Providing advice and support on bargaining and workplace relations matters
n
- Coordinating information, documentation and actions arising throughout the bargaining process
n
- Supporting engagement with internal stakeholders and relevant representatives
n
- Preparing briefing materials, reports and other supporting documentation
n
- Tracking key activities, milestones and deliverables
n
- Supporting project management activities to ensure bargaining work remains on track
n
- Managing competing priorities and responding to emerging issues
n
- Contributing to broader HR and people‐related activities as required
n
n
The Ideal Person
n
You will bring experience in enterprise bargaining, human resources, workplace relations or a related field, together with the ability to manage complex work in a structured and practical way.
n
You may have supported an enterprise agreement negotiation from beginning to end, or have played a significant role in coordinating bargaining activities, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
n
Either way, you will understand the pace and competing demands that come with bargaining and be comfortable working across a range of stakeholders and priorities.
n
Strong organisational and communication skills will be essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and sound judgement.
n
You will be proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership of your work while contributing positively as part of a broader team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for an APS 6-level professional who wants to build or further strengthen their experience in bargaining while contributing to a significant workforce project with genuine organisational impact.

Salary / Rate
n
n
- $99k – $111k + Super
n
- Six months labour hire contract, with the possibility of extension.
