- Coordinating with architects, engineers, plumbers and electricians etc.
- Communicating project updates to clients and other interested parties, such as consultants
- Leading project meetings and maintaining accurate documentation, including drawings, change orders and project plans
- Coordinating daily tasks in accordance with project priorities and plans
- Inspecting daily work completed to ensure it aligns with approved plans and BCA
- Adjusting daily work plans due to weather, delayed supplies or staffing issues
- Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs

- Enforcing employee safety procedures
- Procuring project materials, equipment and permits
- Resolving project issues to prevent delays or budget overages
