About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Senior Site QA/QC Inspector to join a major minerals processing project. This role is responsible for ensuring construction and fabrication activities are completed in accordance with project quality requirements, applicable codes and standards, and established QA/QC procedures while supporting a secure and efficient project delivery environment.

Duties and responsibilities

- Conduct inspections of construction and fabrication activities to verify compliance with quality requirements
- Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, records, and inspection reports
- Perform audits and support quality surveillance activities across site operations
- Monitor contractor quality performance and identify areas for improvement
- Verify compliance with Australian and international codes, standards, and specifications




- Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality issues and non-conformances
- Support the Quality Manager in delivering project quality objectives and reporting requirements

Skills and experience required

- Minimum 10 years' experience in a QA/QC role on EPC/EPCM or major construction projects
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, inspections, and quality management systems
- Sound knowledge of Australian and international codes and standards, including welding requirements
- Experience within minerals processing, mining, or heavy industrial project environments
- Strong auditing, reporting, and documentation management skills
- High attention to detail with excellent time management and communication skills
