Our upcoming We the Living premiere in Melbourne requires a dedicated social media intern.

Role Description: Social Media Intern (Remote)

As a social media intern, your day-to-day will go from content creation to tracking analytics and pivoting our social media strategy according to what the analytics say. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and will have guidance from the Founder on the content voice and style.

You will be adapting content for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. You are welcome to add more social media and search engines to the mix, if you are up for it!

Key Responsibilities

- Content Repurposing: Extracting key quotes, ideas, and lessons from provided articles and videos.
- Original Content Creation: Creative flexibility to come up with your own ideas on what will perform well and test it live.
- Platform Adaptation: Writing punchy captions for LinkedIn, creating engaging carousels for Instagram, and fostering community discussion on Facebook.
- Video Editing:



Creating short meaningful clips from long-form video content, with the aim to engage social media audiences.
- Scheduling: Maintaining a consistent posting rhythm using our content calendar.

Qualifications

- Aesthetic Eye: Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar) to ensure the content looks as valuable as it reads.
- Alignment: An interest in or respect for the principles of Objectivism and rational thinking.
- Ongoing or completed university studies in a humanities, social science or business field. We are willing to overlook that for the right candidate.
