About TradieSpec

We're an Australian fleet leasing and rent-to-own company built from the ground up for tradespeople. Think utes, vans, and everything in between — and a brand with real personality to match. We've built a growing presence across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn that actually stops the scroll, and now we need someone to own it. This isn't a "post and schedule" kind of role. We want someone who lives and breathes content, understands the tradie world, is confident, and is ready to take the wheel (pun intended) on our day-to-day social.

We're looking for a vibrant, energetic person who'll fit right in and add even more spark to our close-knit team.

This isn’t a broad marketing role. It’s a social media role, for someone who lives and breathes social media.

About the Role

You’ll be the person responsible for making sure our content is sharp, on-trend, and consistent across every platform. You’ll work closely with our on-camera talent and content creators to oversee what goes out, catch what could be better, and keep the whole operation running smoothly.

You’re not here to do everything yourself - you’re here to make sure everything is positive.

What You’ll Do

- Oversee the day-to-day quality and consistency of content across all platforms
- Stay ahead of trends and bring platform-native ideas to the table before they’re mainstream
- Create short-form videos (TikTok, Reels and Shorts)
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages
- Lead ideation sessions and contribute to content direction
- Build and manage digital storyboards for upcoming content
- Contribute to ideation for brand partnerships and influencer collaborations, helping shape briefs and creative direction so we get the most out of every partnership
- Grow and nurture our online community, responding, engaging, building relationships
- Manage content calendars and publishing schedules
- Do some hands-on editing and asset preparation when needed




- Work with our content creators and on-camera talent to brief and guide execution

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years managing social media for a brand, agency, or creator, not just contributing to it
- You are genuinely active on social media yourself and have a strong instinct for what works on TikTok and Instagram specifically
- Proven ability to manage and guide content quality, not just produce it
- Strong eye for what’s on-trend, what’s overdone, and what fits our audience
- Experience with community management, you know how to build a following, not just post at one
- Organised and dependable, content calendars, scheduling, and deadlines don’t stress you out
- Comfortable working with real people on camera, not just polished brand assets
- Some video editing ability, you don’t need to be a full editor, but you can turn around a quick cut
- Confidence and enthusiasm.

Bonus points if you have:

- Experience in trades, construction, automotive, or any blue-collar industry

What You Won’t Be Doing

- Running paid ads or media buying.
- Writing long-form copy or blogs.
