Role: Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect at client you will enjoy taking ownership of the strategic delivery of our technology architecture strategy including designing, refining and uplifting our system architecture to meet the expectation of our customers.

Your role will provide a critical capability in helping our technology delivery teams understand how their program progress fits into our wider group view and on how we should structure our technology solutions to stay future fit, compliant and best in market. Key focus areas include:

- Demonstrates expertise in Human Resources industry best practices.

- Provides guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to Workday best practices.

- Expertise in corporate systems based on MS tech such as Office 365 suite, Azure, Active Directory, Sharepoint etc.

- Designing solutions, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and architecture standards/processes.

- Analysing business requirements and determining appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.





- Resolving routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architectures; assessing potential risks and determining solutions to these risks.

- Recommended key areas exposure are:

- HCM technologies and architectural patterns

- Network technologies and architectural patterns

- Data centre and cloud technologies

- Data Migration

- Collaborating with other team members, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture to ensure solutions align with Reference Architectures and cross cutting technology and security standards and policies.

- In the project team you will work with product owners, engineers and 3rd parties to socialise the designs and resolve technical conflicts.

- Working at project level with awareness of Domain roadmaps.

- Provides functional strategic guidance for project planning, system landscape, data migration, testing, deployment, integration and overall solution architecture.

- Ability to guide a team to take a product feature from ideation to implementation.

- Ability to communicate all concepts and architectural guidelines successfully to the development team

- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with design

- Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise tasks effectively and work flexibly to achieve goals

- Experience working in an Agile environment.

- Ability to lead solution design sessions, documenting system/technical requirements

- Knowledge of cloud technologies

- Experience working in legacy and modern technologies
