Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Telephony and Cloud Architect to provide specialist expertise as part of a confidential technology engagement.

Working alongside an established consulting team, you will provide technical leadership across enterprise telephony, cloud communications and architecture. The role requires someone capable of assessing complex environments and ensuring future solutions meet demanding standards for availability, resilience, security and operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

- Provide specialist telephony and cloud architecture advice
- Assess current-state architecture, dependencies and technical risks
- Evaluate cloud, hybrid and enterprise communication options
- Define resilience, availability and disaster-recovery requirements
- Review proposed technical architectures and vendor solutions
- Identify potential points of failure and service-continuity risks
- Contribute to high-level designs, technical requirements and recommendations
- Work collaboratively with senior technology and consulting stakeholders

You will bring:





- Extensive enterprise telephony or contact-centre architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of cloud and hybrid communication platforms
- Proven experience designing highly available and resilient environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise voice, SIP, SBCs, carriers and network dependencies
- Experience with disaster recovery, failover and business continuity
- The ability to assess complex architectures and challenge technical assumptions
- Strong documentation, consulting and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience operating as a senior technical authority

Experience within complex, regulated or continuously operating environments will be highly regarded.

This opportunity would suit a Principal Telephony Architect, Enterprise Voice Architect, Cloud Contact Centre Architect, Unified Communications Architect or Senior Solution Architect with genuine depth across telephony, cloud and resilience.
