Three Pound Group is looking for two Sous Chefs to join our established Perth CBD venues, The Stables Bar and Little Creatures – Elizabeth Quay.

ABOUT THE VENUES The Stables Bar is a well-known Perth CBD venue with a strong focus on quality food, drinks and hospitality. Set across a unique multi-level heritage space, the venue offers a busy and varied kitchen environment with a mix of dining, functions and large-scale service.

Little Creatures – Elizabeth Quay brings the Little Creatures brewery experience into the heart of Perth. Located on the waterfront at Elizabeth Quay, the venue combines craft beer, food and a vibrant atmosphere, with a busy kitchen catering to both locals and visitors.

Both venues offer the prospect to work within an established hospitality group, develop your skills and be part of a busy, supportive kitchen team.

THE ROLE

This position requires strong cooking skills, the ability to lead a busy service and a hands-on approach to kitchen operations. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, develop the team and maintain high standards across food quality, cleanliness and kitchen operations.





Key responsibilities include:

- Leading preparation and service alongside the Head Chef
- Maintaining consistent food quality, presentation and portion control
- Supporting, training and directing the kitchen team
- Assisting with menu development and seasonal changes
- Assisting with ordering, stock rotation, waste and food costs
- Maintaining high food safety and kitchen cleanliness standards
- Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

ABOUT YOU Solid cooking skills and a passion for good food, with the ability to stay organised and calm during busy service. The successful candidate will be reliable, communicate well and take pride in delivering consistent results.

A strong understanding of cleanliness, stock control and minimising waste is essential, along with a positive attitude and willingness to support and develop the kitchen team.
