An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our College community on a full time, fixed term basis for the 2027 College year.
Reporting to the Head of Learning – Languages, the role will be responsible for teaching Spanish across Years 5 to 12 within a collaborative and progressive learning environment. You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice, continuous professional growth, and access to modern teaching spaces and resources.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- Current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum for Spanish and experience teaching Spanish across Years 5 to 12.
- Previous experience teaching VCE and/or IB Spanish (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and the effective use of ICT to enrich classroom learning.
- Well-developed classroom management strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- A willingness to contribute actively to a collegial and collaborative work setting.
- A commitment to upholding the ethos and values of the College.
