We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: * Demonstrated high-level leadership experience in a health, emergency services or public sector workplace, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities specific to rural and remote service delivery. * Proven ability to lead and motivate diverse teams and stakeholders across geographically dispersed locations, including managing competing priorities while ensuring inclusive, place-based solutions. * Demonstrated success in driving strategic reform and implementing initiatives that improve equity, access, and responsiveness for rural and remote communities. * Highly developed communication, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across a wide range of community, government, and service delivery partners. * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities,



including the ability to interpret performance data, identify emerging issues and trends, and deliver continuous improvement in rural and remote contexts. * Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and policy development, particularly in the design, delivery and evaluation of initiatives tailored to the needs of rural and remote communities.
