About us:
Woogaroo Creek State School is a modern Prep-Year 6 school in Augustine Heights, opened in 2023, with a strong focus on collaboration, inclusion and setting students up to 'REACH' new heights.
Its Special Education Program provides dedicated support for students with diverse learning needs, within a growing school community committed to high-quality teaching, solid relationships and helping every student achieve their potential.
Your opportunity: Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support through the Special Education Program and/or Early Childhood Development Program, supporting effective outcomes for students with disability.
Manage the program and provide guidance to teachers and school staff on reasonable adjustments, targeted teaching and appropriate support for students with disability.
Coordinate case management, intensive intervention and assessment processes for students requiring substantial or extensive adjustments,



including monitoring their progress and needs.
Support staff to access relevant departmental and external specialist services, professional development and other supports, while contributing to school decision-making, planning and professional development.
Coordinate school-wide systems and data processes, including the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data, maintain partnerships with families, agencies and community groups, and manage relevant human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources.
