Your Role in Our Team
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food, maintaining kitchen standards and
supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen during service.

Key Responsibilities
• Preparing, seasoning and cooking a variety of dishes according to menu requirements
• Assisting in planning and organising food preparation for smooth kitchen operations
• Ensuring ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet quality standards
• Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently
• Portioning, plating, and presenting dishes to maintain consistency and quality
• Preparing meals to meet dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergen-aware)
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas and equipment




• Assisting in supervising and supporting junior kitchen staff

What You Bring
• AQF Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year of experience working in a commercial kitchen
• Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and kitchen procedures
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling practices
• Positive time management and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent food quality
