About the Role

FTR Primrose Sands, operated by A.C.N. 680 762 109 PTY. LTD., is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our fuel service station and convenience store located in Primrose Sands, Tasmania.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing staff, inventory, sales, customer service and general store operations while maintaining efficient business operations and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fuel service station and convenience store.
- Recruit, train, supervise and coordinate retail staff and prepare staff rosters.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering and replenishment of stock.
- Liaise with suppliers and maintain effective supplier relationships.
- Manage product pricing, displays, merchandising and promotional activities.
- Monitor sales performance, operating expenses and store budgets.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
- Oversee cash handling, stock control and loss prevention procedures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and operational procedures.




- Analyse sales and inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve store performance.

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail management or a closely related supervisory or management role.
- Experience within a service station, convenience store, supermarket or similar retail workplace will be highly regarded.
- Relevant qualification in business, retail management or management is desirable.
- Strong staff management and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of stock control, merchandising and retail operations.
- Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.

What We Offer

- Full-time ongoing employment.
- $80,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
