Spray Painter – Heavy Equipment

Permanent Full-Time | Great Hourly Rate | Stable, Long-Term Opportunity Are you an experienced Spray Painter looking for a stable, long-term position with a well-established Australian engineering company?

We are currently seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join a busy workshop environment where quality, reliability and attention to detail are highly valued.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing, painting and finishing a range of engineered steel components, heavy equipment and fabricated products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding and masking
- Mixing and applying industrial coatings and paints
- Spray painting steel and fabricated components
- Ensuring a high-quality, consistent finish
- Inspecting completed work for quality and defects
- Maintaining spray painting equipment and workshop areas
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Working closely with the wider workshop and production team

About You

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of producing a quality finish every time.





You will ideally have

- Previous experience as a Spray Painter, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, heavy equipment or industrial environment
- Experience with industrial coatings and spray-painting equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to safety and quality

Trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential for the right person.
