Looking for Sr Power Apps Developer - Brisbane Your New Company: Our client, QLD State Government, is undertaking significant digital transformation initiatives to deliver modern, innovative, and secure technology solutions that support thousands of users across Queensland. You will be joining a high-performing technology team focused on delivering business-critical applications and services while driving continuous improvement and service excellence.

Your New Role: As a Senior Power Platform Application Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, support, and enhancement of Power Platform applications throughout the full software development lifecycle. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions that meet organisational requirements.

Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, and Power Platform components.

Developing and maintaining Power Pages solutions.

Supporting application enhancements, troubleshooting, production support, and bug fixes.

Designing data models, integrations, APIs, and enterprise solution architectures.

Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development and deployment processes using Azure DevOps.

Working with Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and AI Builder where required.

Collaborating with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams to deliver business outcomes.

Following Agile delivery methodologies and best practices.

Ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, accessibility, and governance requirements.

Providing technical expertise and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you will need to succeed:



Minimum 3 years' recent hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

Strong expertise in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, and related Power Platform technologies.

Experience developing and extending enterprise business applications.

Proven capability in data modelling, integration development, and API development.

Experience with Power Pages development.

Exposure to Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or AI Builder.

Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.

Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy requirements in cloud-based applications.

Demonstrated experience working in complex ICT environments.

Knowledge of software development methodologies, testing practices, and accessibility standards (WCAG).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

A passion for learning emerging Microsoft technologies and Power Platform innovations.
