SkyCity Adelaide is seeking two experienced leaders to join our Back of House team as Precinct Supervisor - Stewarding, reporting directly to the Chief Steward. These are brand‑new full‑time roles designed for hands‑on operators who thrive in high‑volume environments and take pride in delivering world‑class hygiene, safety and operational excellence.

About The Chance

As Chief Steward, you’ll oversee Back of House standards across all venues, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, fire‑risk controls and asset care. You’ll lead deep‑cleaning programs, manage grease and fire‑risk systems, coordinate waste processes, maintain equipment, and oversee contractor performance - all critical to safe, efficient culinary operations.

You’ll also build in‑house capability, optimise operational costs and uphold HACCP, food safety and WHS compliance across the entire precinct.

As a Precinct Supervisor, you’ll own stewarding performance within your assigned precinct. You’ll supervise a small team, conduct audits, verify standards, drive corrective actions and ensure every venue remains HACCP-compliant and audit‑ready.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Chief Steward, Head Chefs, Engineering and venue teams to uphold hygiene, safety, fire‑risk controls, asset care and precinct‑level efficiency.

About You

You bring strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, WHS procedures, chemical usage and HACCP standards, paired with excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.

Ideally, You Will Also Bring

- Stewarding experience with supervisory or team‑leader capability
- Detailed knowledge of chemical dilution, storage and protected handling
- Physical capability for at‑heights and confined‑space work (including exhaust canopy and duct cleaning)




- Leadership experience in large‑scale hospitality or manufacturing operations
- Prior exhaust‑hood or commercial deep‑cleaning experience
- Experience delivering structured deep‑cleaning and fire‑risk programs
- Leadership of mixed permanent and casual workforces
- Food Safety Supervisor certification
- Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry and chemical‑handling capability (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred backgrounds include casino, cruise, hotel or multi‑venue operations, independent HACCP certification programs, and WHS or Frontline Management qualifications. Roster flexibility is essential, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
