About the role

As a Steel Fixer, you'll play a key role in the protected and efficient reinforcement of concrete structures. You'll work across a range of sites in Perth Metro and Perth Regional areas, on well-known projects around Perth, including the New Women's and Babies Hospital and Osborne Park Hospital.

Key responsibilities

- Reading and interpreting site plans, engineering drawings, and job specifications
- Cutting, bending, and positioning steel reinforcement bars and mesh
- Tying and fixing reinforcement using wire, clips, or tying tools
- Placing bar chairs and spacers to ensure correct cover and positioning
- Collaborating with other team members to meet project timelines and safety standards

About you

- Previous experience as a Steel Fixer (essential)
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret specifications




- Strong work ethic and commitment to safe work practices
- White Card and valid driver's licence
- Willingness to travel to sites across the Perth Metro and Regional area
