About the role The Stores Person is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods while supporting workshop operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared, safely palletised and delivered on time. The successful applicant will be able to work independently to manage daily priorities while also collaborating closely with workshop and operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, label and store incoming stock and materials.

- Maintain accurate inventory and dispatch records.

- Interpret picking slips, work orders and dispatch documentation to accurately select and prepare orders.

- Pick, pack and palletise goods in accordance with company procedures and transport requirements.

- Ensure goods are packaged, secured and labelled correctly for safe delivery.

- Verify outgoing orders against customer requirements and dispatch documentation.





- Load and unload vehicles using safe manual handling techniques and forklift equipment.

- Prepare freight documentation, delivery dockets and consignment paperwork.

- Coordinate freight collections and deliveries as required.

- Support workshop operations through material handling and general assistance.

About you

- Current Manual C-Class Driver's Licence.

- Current Forklift Licence (LF).

- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, dispatch or workshop setting.

- Demonstrated ability to safely pack, secure and palletise goods for transport.

- Ability to accurately interpret picking slips, work orders and dispatch documentation.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

- Good organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Commitment to safe work practices.
