AGPAL Group has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Growth Officer. AGPAL and QIP are leading not-for-profit accreditation providers, specialising in the delivery of services to a diverse range of health, community and human service organisations across Australia. We are dedicated to supporting these organisations to achieve accreditation and are passionate about improving the quality and safety of the services they offer, to ensure Australia's health system remains one of the best in the world. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the General Manager, Client Services and Growth to achieve organisational objectives by driving strategic initiatives and supporting business growth.
Key deliverables of the role:
- Proactively pursue strategic growth opportunities by developing business development pipeline and submitting tenders aligned with the organisation’s long-term objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and lead the development of business cases for new initiatives, including the preparation and submission of relevant funding applications.
- Engage and manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organisational goals through regular updates and tailored engagement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging opportunities for the company and represent the AGPAL Group at conferences and events.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Business Development Skills: Skilled at identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships and contributing to revenue growth.
- Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Skilled at analysing complex situations, identifying challenges, and providing innovative solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and nurture strong, cooperative relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong organisational skills to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively, ensuring delivery within scope and timelines.
- Exceptional Communication: Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, persuasion, and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Technological and Data analysis Proficiency: Familiarity with tools and platforms for project management, data analysis, and communication to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Education & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in health, management, leadership, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading strategic projects within a nonprofit or business organisation, including the development and delivery of growth initiatives.
- Strong background in business development, strategy, governance, change management, research, and continuous quality improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with peak bodies, government agencies, and key stakeholders to identify and secure new opportunities.
- Proven ability to develop partnerships, attract new clients, and support organisational growth and sustainability.
