Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural / Architectural Drafter role based in the Greater Brisbane Area. The drafter will prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for residential and subdivision projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing construction documentation, updating plans based on engineer and architect feedback, and coordinating with project managers, surveyors,



and other specialists.

The role involves translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings, maintaining organized files and revisions, and supporting the team with explicit, consistent drafting outputs. The drafter will also assist in planning workflows, checking drawings for quality and completeness, and contributing to efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings, Architecture, and Planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and technical Drawing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with BIM practices.
- Understanding of local building codes, standards, and structural principles relevant to residential and subdivision projects.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering and survey documentation, and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant qualification in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in structural or architectural drafting is highly beneficial.
