Australian Careers Business College (ACBC) is seeking an experienced, energetic and results-driven Student Recruitment & School Engagement Officer to join our Liverpool campus.

This is a hands-on, target-focused position for someone with proven domestic and international student recruitment and sales experience. You will develop relationships with schools, careers advisers, students, education agents and community organisations while actively converting enquiries into applications and enrolments.

Australian Careers Business College (ACBC) is an established Registered Training Organisation based in Liverpool, NSW (RTO 90271). ACBC has been delivering Nationally Recognised Qualifications for over three decades.

ACBC offers full-time, face-to-face training at our Liverpool campus, workplace-based training for trainees, school-based trainees, and flexible online study supported by dedicated trainers. We are also a registered CRICOS provider welcoming international students to study at our Liverpool campus.

ACBC is an approved VET Student Loans provider and delivers training under the NSW Smart and Skilled program, including eligible traineeships.

Our Nationally Recognised courses provide graduates with credit toward relevant Bachelor’s Degrees and articulation agreements at participating universities.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

- Recruit domestic and international students across ACBC’s courses and delivery options, working towards agreed recruitment and enrolment targets.




- Develop and maintain strong relationships with secondary schools, career advisers, education agents, employment service providers and community organisations to build ongoing recruitment opportunities.
- Plan and conduct school visits, presentations, information sessions, campus tours and career expo activities to promote ACBC and its courses.
- Generate new student leads and recruitment opportunities through school engagement, community outreach, events, education agents, outbound communication and other referral channels.
- Respond to prospective student enquiries by telephone, email, online channels and face-to-face, providing timely and professional follow-up.
- Convert enquiries into applications and enrolments through proactive follow-up, consultation and effective lead management.
- Provide prospective students with accurate information about course options, entry requirements, fees, study pathways and applicable funding or loan arrangements, including Smart and Skilled and VET Student Loans, subject to eligibility.
- Liaise with education agents and referral partners to support domestic and international student recruitment and enrolment activity.
- Represent ACBC professionally at school events, career expos, international education events, community activities and other promotional opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of leads, contacts, recruitment activities, follow-ups and outcomes.
- Identify and develop new partnerships, referral channels and recruitment opportunities to strengthen ACBC’s student pipeline.
- Provide regular reports on school engagement, recruitment activity, lead pipeline, conversion and enrolment outcomes.




- Ensure all recruitment and promotional activities are accurate, ethical and consistent with ACBC policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- Previous experience in student recruitment, school engagement or education sales.
- Experience recruiting both domestic and international students.
- Demonstrated sales experience and a proven ability to meet targets and convert enquiries into enrolments or other measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with Smart and Skilled and VET Student Loans, including student eligibility and the importance of providing accurate information.
- An understanding of the Australian vocational education and training sector.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confidence delivering presentations to students, parents, career advisers, education agents and other stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong telephone communication, follow-up and lead-conversion capabilities.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Experience using a CRM or similar lead-management system.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and the ability to travel to schools and events.
- A valid Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one
