Biddly is looking to expand its network of experienced subcontract bid and tender writers to support a growing pipeline of client work.

I’m looking for writers who genuinely understand bids and tenders — not simply strong generalist writers.

You’ll need to have

- Demonstrated experience writing bids, tenders, EOIs, proposals or similar competitive submissions
- Strong technical writing capability, with the ability to take complex, incomplete or SME-provided information and turn it into clear, compelling responses
- A benefits-driven writing style that goes beyond describing what a client does and clearly articulates the value, outcomes and benefits for the evaluator/customer
- A strong understanding of compliance, evaluation criteria and responding directly to the question being asked
- The ability to work within word and page limits without losing the strength of the response
- Excellent written English and attention to detail
- The ability to work collaboratively with bid managers, SMEs and other contributors, while also being comfortable working independently
- Reliability around deadlines — tender deadlines are generally not negotiable!

Highly regarded

- APMP training, certification or demonstrated familiarity with APMP principles and good-practice bid methodology
- Experience across complex, technical, infrastructure,



facilities management, skilled services, government or other B2B tender environments
- Experience reviewing and improving existing tender content, rather than only writing from scratch

This is subcontract/project-based work, not an employed position. Work will generally be undertaken remotely, with opportunities varying depending on client requirements and submission pipelines.

I’m particularly interested in building relationships with a small number of experienced writers I can work with regularly, rather than creating a large casual freelancer pool.
